Product Description

The Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂) Double-Convex Lens is made from high-purity crystalline CaF₂, providing superior transmission from 180 nm to 8 μm. Its symmetrical double-convex geometry allows for precise light focusing and minimal spherical aberration in both collimating and converging optical setups. With low refractive index and minimal chromatic dispersion, this lens is ideal for broadband optical systems operating across UV, visible, and IR regions. It also features exceptional resistance to thermal shock, humidity, and high laser energy. The lens is commonly used in spectroscopy, laser focusing, and infrared imaging. Custom dimensions, focal lengths, and coating options (UV AR, IR AR, or broadband AR) are available to meet different optical system requirements.
